Responsibilities:
- Provide engaged HR and Safety advisory and support to employees at all levels, ensuring effective decision making and best practices in people management.
- Collaborate on the design, integration, and implementation of HR programs, processes, and initiatives, while continuously building business relationships and trust.
- Manage the full staffing process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding in compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Serve as the expert resource for plant HR policies, guiding supervisors and managers in areas such as terminations, lay-offs, promotions, attendance, and disciplinary practices.
- Lead safety programs, including conducting safety meetings, inspections, training, accident reporting, and overseeing compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
- Partner with leadership for strategic community outreach, employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, and HR analytics reporting.
- Implement and facilitate Behavior Based Safety programs, maintain safety records, encourage leadership accountability for safety, and support continuous improvement in HR and Safety policies and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 4 year degree preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired
Skills:
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
About the role:
- Full Time, Direct Hire
- Mon – Fri; 7a-4p
