About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Divisional Vice President for the Independent and Bank Channels. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dynamic team of annuity External Wholesalers, concentrating on recruiting, training, and inspiring them to enhance annuity product sales across the independent channel. Your expertise in annuity sales management, particularly within wholesaling organizations, is essential.
As the DVP, you will:
Lead the recruitment and development of individual External Wholesalers.
Manage the region with a clear focus on achieving targeted sales goals.
Implement comprehensive business plans and monitor expense budgets effectively.
Engage in extensive networking with key broker/dealers and centers of influence.
This position calls for a professional with a minimum of 15 years in the industry, with a significant background in the independent channel. You will be expected to travel occasionally, maintain excellent communication and organizational skills, and possess the ability to work independently while motivating your team.
Required Qualifications:
Life and annuity licenses for your resident state.
FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, and Series 26 or 24 (preferred or to be obtained within the first 6 months).
A proven track record in sales and the capability to operate within an established expense budget.
A robust network within the industry.
