Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging Specialist
">Job Summary:
">We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams, verifying patient identity, and reviewing medical records.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Perform high-quality CT scans, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exam or procedure.
- Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors.
- Explain procedures to patients, including risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Set up equipment and acquire images as per script.
Qualifications:
">- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
- One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Skills Required:
">- Analytical and clinical skills to determine the most appropriate method of providing radiographs specific to patient’s physical ability and/or limitations.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with patients who may be under physical/emotional stress.
- Technical knowledge to operate specialized equipment and computers.
