Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide medical care for pediatric patients in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU)
- Manage post-operative cardiothoracic cases
- Perform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, and needle thoracentesis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care and procedures using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- One year of pediatric cardiology experience required; post-operative cardiothoracic experience preferred
- Experience with advanced critical care procedures desired
- Required board certifications: Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
- Must hold a valid Texas license
