Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line and prep cooks. We are opening a brand new restaurant in Ponte Vedra. We are a very hands on management team that believes in a player coach mentality. At The local we are growing and love to grow our people as well. This year we have promoted 5 team members into our management ranks. We also offer competitive pay. Show us a pay stub and we will match or beat your current pay. Duties Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and standards. Coordinate meal preparation for large events or daily service, ensuring timely delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that align with fine dining standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service during peak times. Experience Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated culinary skills including knife skills and meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering and serving. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while leading a team.
