We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and consistency in presentation. Support catering events as needed, preparing dishes that meet client specifications. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is required; fine dining experience is preferred. Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members efficiently.
