We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. This role is essential in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience by checking in regularly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for billing purposes. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Understanding of food handling practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately during cashiering duties. Previous host/host experience is beneficial but not required.
