Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered accurately. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and quality control. Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive dining atmosphere. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding menu items better. Experience as a host/host or in guest services can enhance team collaboration.
