Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed information about menu items. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash handling procedures. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders. Provide excellent guest services, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Culinary experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Previous experience as a host/host or in guest relations is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
