We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, customer service, and legal compliance, particularly with LIHTC and Section 8 programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations including Fair Housing and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met. Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner. Oversee lease agreements, negotiations, and renewals while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Implement effective sales strategies to increase occupancy rates through upselling available units. Maintain accurate records of property activities including maintenance requests and tenant communications. Collaborate with maintenance staff to address property issues promptly and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants while fostering positive relationships. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administration. Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws. Proficient in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively. Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Solid understanding of facilities management principles and practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and filing tasks. Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for tenant interactions. Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
