Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management practices, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This role involves managing tenant relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the overall condition of the properties. Duties Must be able to repair any fixes at the properties as needed. Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for efficient data entry and record-keeping. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met. Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively through strong conflict management skills. Prepare and manage lease agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to property management. Implement marketing strategies to promote available units and upsell services to potential tenants. Maintain accurate records of property maintenance requests using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and foster positive relationships within the community. Collaborate with facilities management to ensure all properties are well-maintained. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is essential. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 housing is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management practices. Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution within a real estate context. Experience with legal administrative tasks related to property leasing and contracts is preferred. Proficient in office administration tasks including filing, data entry, and phone etiquette. A background in facilities management will be considered an asset.
