Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OWNER OPERATOR'S Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. Build your business by working under my authority 20 years experience. I can get you dedicated lanes to work daily, up and back frieghts. The ideal candidate will Own your truck, Flatbed, Reefer, Semi, Box, or trailer and be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, along with the ability to manage various types of freight. Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight over long distances. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS systems and maps. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving. Manage different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more as required. Skills Proficient in manual transmission operation. Experience with refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks. Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus. Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance. Previous delivery driver experience is beneficial. Familiarity with operating forklifts, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is advantageous. Ability to efficiently load and unload freight while ensuring cargo integrity. Excellent route driving skills with a proven track record of timely deliveries.
