Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels. (If needed) Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure all necessary materials are available. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning tasks. Uphold the principles of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests and addressing their needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles; hotel or hospitality experience is preferred. Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks related to cleaning duties. A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
