Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, residential properties, and industrial facilities. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and residents. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Manage housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Follow established protocols for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department. Skills Strong custodial skills with a focus on cleanliness and attention to detail. Experience in hospitality settings is preferred but not required. Proficiency in floor care techniques and equipment operation. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods is beneficial. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
