We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and banquet settings. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining exceptional food safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Duties Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their culinary skills. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals. Collaborate with the Head Chef to implement new recipes and cooking techniques. Monitor kitchen operations during shifts to ensure efficiency and quality service. Handle special dietary requests with care and attention to detail. Experience Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the food industry. Strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is preferred. Experience in supervising staff and managing kitchen operations effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with inventory management systems and food handling procedures. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
