Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both commercial and industrial settings. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and new construction, while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations. Pipe bending experience is a must. Ability to work nights. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems. Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local building codes. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments. Experience Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Industrial Electrician is required. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Experience in construction site environments, including renovation projects. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Frame carpentry experience is a plus, enhancing versatility on job sites. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
