Medical Biller and Coder

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller, must have 10 years or more total experience. The candidate must be an expert in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely processing of medical claims. They will also be able to openly receive direction from a supervisor. Skills the candidate must be an expert in: Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe Utilize medical billing software to process claims Investigate and appeal denied claims Maintain patient billing records Work closely with the medical billing and office staff to ensure proper billing procedures - Proficiency in Medical Billing and Coding Knowledge of DRG, ICD-10 coding systems Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Medical Biller to join a dynamic healthcare team.
