Who we are looking for
We are looking for a professional line cook with from-scratch experience to prepare food to specifications and to set up stations for menu. We pride ourselves on using the highest quality ingredients and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in delivering these outstanding experiences by preparing dishes with precision and passion. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with food preparation and mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
Monitor food quality and freshness to maintain the restaurant's high standards.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Contribute to menu development and creativity in the kitchen as needed.
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Skills
· From scratch cooking and prep
. Excellent knife skills
· Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
· Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
· Familiar with industry's best practices
