Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in the dietary department or fine dining settings. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your expertise in menu planning and meal preparation will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Assist in menu planning and development of new pizza offerings Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Provide excellent customer service by addressing any special requests or dietary needs Skills Dietary department experience is a plus Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role within the food industry Strong menu planning skills with an understanding of culinary trends Fine dining experience preferred, showcasing high-quality food presentation Proficient in food preparation techniques, including cooking methods and knife skills Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for handling ingredients Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction Join our team and bring your culinary talents to life as we create memorable dining experiences for our guests Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 33 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid training Work Location: In person
