We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing and construction. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and training in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Responsibilities Assist in the installation and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. Participate in construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols. Assist with pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing maintenance tasks. Gain knowledge in welding techniques as applicable to plumbing installations. Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating material requirements. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Qualifications Previous experience in construction or maintenance person roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with construction plumbing practices is a plus. Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems are beneficial. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to plumbing projects. Experience with carpentry or assembly tasks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety on the job site. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced professionals. Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
