Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills. Experience as a dietary aide is a plus but not required.
