Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation. Participate in daily kitchen tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager. Experience Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Knowledge of dietary department standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are necessary. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
