Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in providing technical support and maintenance for our manufacturing facility equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, experience in industrial maintenance, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in manufacturing facilities. Troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and hydraulics. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct field service visits to assess equipment performance and implement necessary repairs. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide repair processes. Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Execute welding tasks including stick welding as required for repairs. Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols while using scissor lifts and other equipment. Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or field service engineer in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Familiarity with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications. Proficiency in analyzing technical problems with strong analysis skills. Experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Military experience is a plus but not required. Willingness to travel as needed for field service assignments.
