Purpose
Ensure Compliance & Information Security for Divergent. The Role
Be a primary, cross-departmental point of contact for information technology security needs. Plan, execute & maintain security compliance standards such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0. Thoroughly document to a standard that exceeds relevant requirements and is easily identifiable by interested parties. Handle security incidents in a timely manner. Identify security gaps, make action plans, and close. Scope, implement, monitor, and maintain security solutions as required by leadership and as necessary to maintain a secure environment. Write policy, procedure, and security standards for information technology systems. Track changes and stay up to date for industry accepted security practices and adjust posture through action and recommendations as relevant. Thoroughly test and validate deployed solutions for functional requirements. Ensure standards are maintained and compliance is kept through industry accepted practices such as audits. Be a frontline advocate for Information Security Operational Excellence. Manage the security team effectively. Work cross-functionally with other teams in a manner that represents your team well. Operate in a manner demonstrating a high level of integrity, ethics, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information. Basic Qualifications
Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls. BA/BS in Technology or STEM field OR equivalent relevant and proven experience combined with certifications. 5+ years working in information technology security. Demonstrated ability to execute industry accepted security practices. Demonstrated Project Management Skills requiring minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to manage a team. Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government background check. Security+, CISSP or other DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification in the Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III category, or ability and willingness to rapidly complete said certifications. Preferred Qualifications
Active or former Government clearance. Proven track record of mentoring and managing other information technology personnel. Specialized Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Security. Proven track record of maintaining vendor relationships. Hybrid as appropriate at our Torrance, CA headquarters. Pay Range $173,070 - $238,005 USD What We Offer: Holistic Compensation Package:
