Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pre-Suit/Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and writing skills, with a solid understanding of various areas of law including personal injury/litigation. This role involves supporting attorneys in case preparation, conducting legal research, and managing documentation effectively to ensure smooth operations within the law office. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and evidence. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail. Manage case files through document management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Review and summarize documents for relevance and importance in ongoing cases. Coordinate interviews with clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases. Maintain an organized filing system for both electronic and physical documents. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, transcription, and clerical duties to support the legal team. Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks related to litigation timelines and deadlines. Experience
Candidates should have prior paralegal experience in personal injury with a focus on pre-suit/litigation experiences. Familiarity with personal injury law and workers' compensation law is highly desirable. Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, document review, interviewing techniques, and phone etiquette is essential. Experience with Filevine software is a plus. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remove environment will be key to success in this role.
