We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our NEW educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The candidate must be at least a level 12 on the Wisconsin Registry. The class will run from 9am-12 Monday-Friday and will follow the school district schedule. The position is part-time or full-time depending on the need. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including literacy, math, and social skills. Provide individualized support to students with special needs through early intervention strategies. Implement effective behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and classroom management practices. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Proficient in literacy education, math concepts, and teaching physical education. Ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics while providing individualized attention to students. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures as they relate to early childhood education.
