Scrum Consultant

W2 Responsibilities: Solid understanding of the Scrum Framework and agile principles Skilled in building high-performing teams that use inspect-and-adapt loops for continuous improvement Ability to leverage empirical data to benefit both team and organization Strong critical and creative problem-solving skills Capable of presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating across multiple organizational levels, especially within teams Values team success over individual achievement; collaborates effectively with others Committed to continuous learning in areas such as Agile, Scrum, coaching, facilitation, emotional intelligence, team dynamics, and active listening Understands all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including:
Project Management Requirements Management Analysis & Design Quality Assurance & Testing Implementation & Deployment Configuration & Change Management
Working knowledge of agility-supporting practices, including:
Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Deployment (CD) Test-Driven Development (TDD) Automated Test-Driven Development
Familiarity with other Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as:
Kanban Scrumban Extreme Programming (XP) Mob Programming
Understands priority setting and goal alignment in agile business environments Demonstrates servant leadership and models agile mindset shifts Applies various approaches to remove Agile Squad impediments, including:
Cultural barriers Logistical challenges Coordination with other squads and teams
Escalates impediments to appropriate organizational entities when necessary Facilitates communication, cooperation, and collaboration within and beyond the Agile Squad, including with the Agile Center Works to enhance effectiveness of all Agile Squad roles Shields the Agile Squad from external interference to maintain productivity Fosters self-organization, learning, and growth within the squad Builds a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear Performs other duties as assigned Experience Requirements: Over 5 years of full-time business experience More than 3 years of Scrum experience Strong oral and written communication skills Skilled in presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating across multiple organizational levels, especially within team environments Experienced in identifying and removing impediments outside of the team Proficient coaching skills with the ability to convey complex messages and teach new concepts Effective conflict resolution abilities; strong mediator for interpersonal and organizational issues Active coach and mentor focused on growth and maximizing team potential High-energy and passionate professional dedicated to building strong, effective teams Skilled at fostering trust and rapport to create a sustainable and productive workplace Promotes innovative thinking and continuous self-improvement Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree required
