Candidates must be willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Responsibilities & Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Payroll & Time & Labor Assist with managing time cards and weekly time editing Work with appropriate managers and supervisors to ensure hours are correct for each payroll run Sort checks for weekly distribution and attach payroll stuffers as needed Prepare weekly and bi-weekly payroll for HR Manager to review and submit Manage child support and employee garnishments Manage and record employee absences Address and resolve any issues with payroll

Paylocity HRIS System

Responsible for maintaining all aspects of Paylocity Ensuring all employee records are maintained, accurate and secure within the HRIS system Utilize this system to assist with the day-to-day tasks of the Human Resources Department Update employee information to ensure accurate tracking of employee attendance, absenteeism, time off requests and other information such as compensation, benefits, and other relevant data Work with appropriate parties to ensure EDI feeds are set up properly Generate various reports as needed for leadership from the HRIS system

Recruiting & Onboarding

Work with Recruiting Specialist and assist in advertising, recruiting, screening and interviewing potential new recruits Will perform full time new employee orientations individually or in groups with the help of the Recruiting Specialist Will ensure all paperwork is completed successfully and follow up where needed Coordinate with new hire, hiring manager, and other appropriate parties to manage the new hire orientation and onboarding process Manage employee referral program Will participate in all aspects of seasonal recruiting and orientation.

Benefits & Compensation Administration Employees

Provide employees with assistance and education on all company benefits

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Manage new employee eligibility and enrollments, qualifying events, and COBRA events Manage annual open enrollment and follow up Monthly audits of the EDI File Feeds

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Inform eligible employees on the HSA enrollment process Manage HSA deductions in Paylocity

401(k)

Work with Financial Advisor to set up employee meetings Assist with paperwork for new participants and participant changes

Health & Wellness Program

Responsible for the development and advancement of a corporate health and wellness program Coordinate annual flu shots and biometric screenings Process event reimbursements for employees

Time Off

Manage employee time off tracking system and attendance tracking system Manage monthly employee vacation payouts

Employee Savings Program

Manage annual enrollment for employees

Employee Communications and Engagement

Conduct exit interviews Answer and address employee questions Conduct 30 & 90 day check ins with employee and supervisor Assist with planning company Christmas party, retirement gatherings and any other employee events Manage employee orders and sign ups (tshirts, products, etc) Coordinate training, travel, and accommodations for employees

Legal & Compliance

Assist Human Resources Manager in gathering data, as needed, for legal and compliance issues Work with Human Resources Manager to maintain compliance with I-9s, tax forms, HR laws and regulations, etc.

Human Resources Department

The HR Generalist will work with the Human Resources Manager in a variety of different areas including but not limited to the following. Employee Morale Boosters Community Outreach with Employees Coordination of programs, events, meetings, conferences and employee gatherings as needed Preparation of presentation and reports Monthly phone stipend Celebrating employee life events Employee uniform program Completion of requests for information from unemployment, job & family services, etc. Assist with employee references Administrative tasks

Safety

Provide support to safety team as needed Process employee safety shoe reimbursement through payroll and save their receipts

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or 5 years of experience working in Human Resources Strong organizational skills Highly trustworthy with an unwavering sense of confidentiality Must be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and from various walks of life Continuous attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks Treat everyone, at every level of the company, with the highest level of respect and dignity Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive Bilingual in both Spanish and English
