Restaurant Manager

provides comprehensive oversight of restaurant operations, primarily during evening meal periods. This position involves managing and training restaurant and bar staff, scheduling and inventory procedures. The Restaurant Manager reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight : Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Inventory management : Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary.
Policy enforcement : Implement and enforce policies and procedures to optimize service, efficiency, and productivity.
Training And Development
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel.
Assist in the design and implementation of training programs to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction.
Bar And Lounge Management
Supervise the Bar and Lounge areas, including staffing, inventory control, and quality of service.
Assist in the development of beverage menus, ensuring they align with current trends and guest preferences.
Customer Service
Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, setting the standard for staff interactions with guests.
Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Financial Management
Labor/scheduling controls
P&L operational controls
Cost control inventory
Qualifications
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as industry best practices.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
