What We Look For...
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during all three meal periods. This role involves managing staff, collaborating with the Banquets Team for events, supervising the Bar and Lounge areas, and developing innovative In Room Dining programs.
The Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage daily restaurant operations across all meal periods to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Implement policies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Training and Development:
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor staff including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Design training programs to improve staff performance and guest satisfaction.
Banquets and Events:
- Work with the Banquets Team to plan and execute events, ensuring smooth coordination and excellent service.
- Oversee event setup, staffing, and breakdown.
Bar and Lounge Management:
- Supervise the Bar and Lounge, including staffing, inventory, and service quality.
- Develop and update beverage menus based on trends and guest preferences.
In Room Dining Program:
- Create and implement innovative In Room Dining programs to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with culinary team to develop appealing menu options.
Customer Service:
- Promote a culture of exceptional service and set standards for staff interactions.
- Address guest complaints professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Analyze sales and expense reports to identify cost-saving and revenue opportunities.
- Manage the department budget to meet financial targets.
Compliance and Licensing:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health, safety, and liquor laws.
- Maintain necessary permits and licenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in restaurant management with a focus on revenue and profitability.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
