Administrative Support For Charter's Employment Law Team
Provides administrative and clerical support for Charter's Employment Law team. This role can be based in-office at one of our corporate campuses located in Stamford CT or St. Louis MO. Major Duties And Responsibilities Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Transcribe, type, edit, and proofread legal documents Photocopy, fax, and distribute documents Prepare correspondence and legal documents Interpret data, create graphs, charts, legal presentations, and reports Create, maintain, and track legal files Maintain documents in database Act as liaison with internal clients, law firms, vendors, and customers Direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel Prepare and coordinate on-site meetings and events Arrange travel, process, track and report expenses Track and report attorney licensure requirements, including continuing legal education Independently set assignment priorities and deadlines in order to provide administrative support for assigned legal professionals Will travel for work intermittently and minimally, up to 5% of time. Required Qualifications Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Experience with Legal Tracker, Serengeti, or iManage, strongly preferred Required Education College coursework in business or legal studies, related field, or equivalent work experience Required Related Work Experience And Number Of Years Administrative work experience or other equivalent experience - 8+ Legal administrative work experience or other equivalent experience - 8+
