RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE TYPE: SCITRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced senior-level Software Engineer to join our team in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program. The program is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Processing Team in development of tasking and scheduling software. The successful candidate will be on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline. Will be working in the office executing 2-week Sprints for 3-month increment deliveries. The work is full-time in the office. The qualified candidate must have and be able to maintain a DoD clearance. As a Software Engineer, you will: design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground Segment support the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission develop using an Agile paradigm with the Atlassian tool suite work on two programs with a single baseline, operating in an in-office environment with 2-week sprints for 3-month increment deliveries operate independently with little oversight in a dynamic environment and report information to leads and the customer handle diverse assignments with efficiency in a collaborative, fast-paced setting Qualifications

Basic Qualifications Must have an active/current U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access [TS/SCI]. US Citizenship required. Minimum years of experience needed to be considered: 12 Years of relevant software engineering experience with a completed bachelors degree 10 Years of relevant software engineering experience with a completed masters degree 8 Years of relevant software engineering experience with a completed PhD 14 Years of relevant software engineering experience with a completed associates degree 16 years of relevant work software engineering experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required) Must have above minimum experience on the below: DevOps experience in staging environments, maintaining values files configurations, writes configuration/installation documentation Strong JAVA experience Web frameworks: React, Vue Agile development methodologies Software Design Software unit testing Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservice architecture, and object-oriented design Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies Working with a geographically distributed team Preferred Qualifications

STEM degree Proficient with Atlassian tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Proficient working with NodeJS framework Familiar with Keycloak To better support our employees work/life balance, most NG worksites support a 9/80 work schedule. Explore your future and launch your career today. #definingpossible Primary Level Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $256,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
