Position Overview:

This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound international shipments. The Logistics Clerk will play a key part in coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and develop strong organizational and problem-solving skills within a dynamic environment.

**Note: This is an on-site position. Remote work is not available.**

Key Responsibilities: Monitor and adjust delivery schedules, proactively identifying and communicating any potential issues and coordinating necessary reschedules. Facilitate communication of inbound container schedules to the Drayage Company, DMA Internal Transportation, and DMA Warehouses to ensure seamless coordination. Obtain and prepare quotes for international outbound shipments from various Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Truckload carriers. Prepare and dispatch essential shipping documentation for outbound shipments, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Labels. Provide accurate shipment details to the FTZ Coordinator as required. Respond promptly to internal inquiries regarding inbound shipment statuses. Communicate and collaborate with broker representatives to resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies, ensuring alignment with customer expectations. Other duties may be assigned as business necessitates. Requirements

Key Requirements:

HS Diploma or equivalent Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures involving import documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. Ability to effectively articulate and present information and respond to questions from Management in a professional manner. Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in mathematics. Detail orientated. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Ability to read and write in English.
