Maintain active roster of qualified ML students through tracking of student withdrawals, attendance, transfers. The integrity of this data directly affects P223 reporting, FTE allocation, and remedy payroll. Prepare and submit monthly P223 report for ML program. Collect assessment data from CEDARS EDS and/or other school districts for incoming new enrollments and transfer students to determine ML service eligibility. Screen new enrollment Home Language Survey forms to determine if students need to be assessed for ML services. Additionally, utilizing this information to perform audits of student profiles in Skyward to prevent reporting errors to CEDARS EDS. Create student registrations in WIDA DRC to test students for ML eligibility. Registrations are then communicated to ML teachers via email and added to shared spreadsheets of teachers' testing rosters. Create and maintain LEP records in Skyward including data entry of score reports and uploading of ML documents. Audit student records in Skyward to ensure compliance with OSPI. Communicate with building registrars, ML teachers, and/or other school districts to retrieve missing documents, if necessary. Receive LEXIA English requests from teachers and determine eligibility for requested students in order to distribute and allocate licenses appropriately. Datamine demographic reports to identify potential Title III students. Student grades and annual assessment score reports (FastBridge, SBA, WIDA ACCESS) are also generated and compiled during this process. Provide WIDA DRC technicalsupport to ML teachers through troubleshooting and management of user settings, testing sessions, report exports. Compile data and generate charts/graphs, as requested by directors. High school diploma or equivalent. Four years job-related experience or an AA degree and two years of job-related experience Ability to read and interpret technical and other complex documents. Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and emails. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and/or external clients. Work situations are broadly defined, complex and diverse, and occasionally unprecedented. Problems have many dimensions and range from innovative thinking in one area to related fields of specialization. Consequences normally evaluated use more formal analytical, planning or process methods and strategies are developed for action. Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Job Summary: Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified candidate for the role of Administrative Professional IV to support the ML Program. This role reports to and supports the Director of Multilingual Learning to ensure departmental compliance with OSPI guidelines, underpins successful registration of students throughout the district, and undergirds student access to necessary supports for their education. This position works extensively with student and registration data: creating and maintaining records and data sets and supporting ensuring optimal utility of that data with conscientious organization for interpretation.In addition to supporting the Director of Multilingual Learning, this position also assists program teachers and external stakeholders by providing requested data, information, and procedural guidance.
