Responsibilities
Build relationships with medical community members and partners, identifying decision makers. Promote hospice care services through regular visits, showcasing quality and capabilities. Enhance the hospice's brand to become the preferred provider in the service area, exceeding growth and census goals. Make calls to secure referrals, build census, and meet goals with physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare providers. Conduct initial meetings with patients and families, explaining hospice services and obtaining consent.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred; experience may substitute. At least 2 years of healthcare sales/marketing experience; hospice/palliative experience preferred. Ability to build relationships with staff, contracts, and clinical teams to understand hospice services. Proven ability to develop relationships with healthcare professionals and community agencies. Clinical experience is a plus.
