Product Introduction Analyst

to join our team in the Portland area. This role is crucial for the successful development and commercialization of new and revised food products. The analyst will leverage their knowledge and technical expertise to facilitate planning, organization, and coordination of Commercial Plant Testing. They will play a key role in developing in-plant processes, testing new equipment and ingredients, and improving manufacturing efficiencies and cost reduction efforts. Coordinate and conduct CP tests supporting new or revised product development independently. Communicate effectively with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth product commercialization. Address production and processing issues to ensure successful product launches. Maintain and update Bills of Materials, routings, flow charts, and supporting documentation in compliance with management systems. Ensure departmental procedures, GMPs, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded. Promote a positive, team-oriented environment. Engage in projects related to Process Development, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Cost, Maintenance, and Safety (GEMBA). Assist in developing new manufacturing processes using technical knowledge of equipment, personnel, and products. Develop industry expertise supporting existing and new processes, including mixing, packaging, microwaving, prep, slicing, dicing, and refrigerating. Participate in See, Think, Plan, Do (STPD) analysis, investigate questionable products, and conduct root-cause analysis to meet quality expectations. Comply with all policies and procedures related to product introduction to ensure high-quality output. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Food Science or a relevant discipline preferred. 1-4 years of related experience or equivalent education and training. Effective cross-functional communication skills at plant and corporate levels. Ability to analyze business documents, technical procedures, financial reports, and regulations. Proficiency with mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, Teams, and ERP systems like Product Vision. Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions and data. Note:
