Marketing Coordinator

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or a related field, and a minimum of two years of related experience or a similar combination of education and experience. Reports to: Director of Development Scope: This part-time (20 to 25 hours per week), hourly position will play a key role in the development, implementation, and execution of the marketing strategy for Hope Center for Children. This individual will work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent, effective, and engaging communications across both print and digital media. The marketing coordinator will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing various marketing projects, and maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms. This is an on-site, employed position (not contract and not remote). Positions Supervised: None Position Responsibilities: Print & Digital Design & Development: Gather information and design various print materials, including newsletters, appeals, postcards, invitations, signs, flyers, brochures, rack cards, posters, event banners and signage, and annual reports. Design digital assets such as ads, billboards, invitations, graphics for the web, e-newsletters, social media posts, and e-blasts for monthly campaigns or specific events. Content Creation & Copywriting: Write compelling copy for a wide range of materials, including newsletter articles, social media updates, appeals, blog posts, press releases, and web content. Develop content for targeted email campaigns and monthly e-newsletters to engage with current and potential audiences. Press & Media Relations: Build and maintain an up-to-date media list to send press releases, and monitor coverage to ensure the organization's voice is consistently represented. Public Engagement: Represent the organization at speaking engagements and tabling events to build awareness and promote programs. Occasional travel may be involved. Order promotional materials and swag for tabling events and outreach activities. Help with preparation for events, including loading and unloading of materials. Website Management: Regularly update website content, including news posts, home page sliders, and program-specific updates. Monitor and manage web form submissions, including general inquiries, volunteer applications, and program-specific submissions. Work with various teams to update website materials as needed to ensure accurate and timely information about ongoing and new programs. Develop new website sections as needed. Serve as main contact with website developer. Vendor & Partner Management: Maintain and develop relationships with vendors for printing materials and promotional swag. Manage the procurement of business cards, name badges, and other promotional materials. Brand Management: Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to the organization's branding guidelines, voice, and tone, creating a consistent and professional image across all platforms. Other duties as Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required: Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Knowledge of website management tools, WordPress preferred. Experience with email marketing platforms. Familiarity with SEO principles and web analytics. Familiarity with video marketing. Communication Skills: Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills. Creative Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a creative thinker who can contribute new ideas to marketing campaigns. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners/vendors.
