Job Summary

Community Health Systems is hiring an EHR Specialty Services Supervisor to join our EHR Team. As the EHR Specialty Services Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Long Term Care, Rehab, Women's Health, Surgical, and Anesthesia Technical Teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders and partner to achieve business objectives. You will manage the complex technical projects in environments with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes. You will define strategy and technology roadmap, in order to direct and manage a team of associates responsible for delivering the technical aspects of an implementation project. The Supervisor will design, build, and maintain complex technical project plans based on commitments, and act as an escalation point for technical issues and risks. As a key member of this team, you will work independently with little supervision and be able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects while working with ambiguity. It is also important for you to be able to break down complex situations and communicate them effectively to external and internal project teams both electronically and verbally (which includes but not limited to leading and directing calls). You will understand and execute written technical work instruction and will understand and document complex technical communication.

Essential Functions

The EHR Specialty Services Supervisor will be responsible for the technical components of Cerner. You will work with internal and external stakeholders and partner to achieve business objectives.

Manage the complex technical projects in environments with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes.

Define strategy and technology roadmap, in order to direct and manage a team of associates responsible for delivering the technical aspects of an implementation project.

Consult with internal project, Business Partners, and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests.

The Supervisor will design, build, and maintain complex technical project plans based on commitments, and act as an escalation point for technical issues and risks.

As a key member of this team, you will work independently with little supervision and be able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects while working with ambiguity.

Additionally, you will facilitate and direct technical discovery and provide expertise based on the specific environment, while also establishing relationships with the goal of achieving high level satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or Healthcare or relevant degree or equivalent work experience

At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

At least 5 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience

At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.

At least 3 years managing complex teams and direct reports.

Preferred Experience:

6 year's experience working with Cerner Millennium

6 year's experience working with Invest Owned Clients

6 year's experience with Change Processes

6 year's of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
