Engineering Manager
to lead a high-performing engineering team for a well-established manufacturing organization in Spring Grove, IL. This role is designed for a leader who thrives on

strategic and technical leadership
for the engineering department, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
Oversee the planning, design, and execution of projects across manufacturing, process improvement, and product development
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and support staff; set clear expectations and foster professional growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and maintenance to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
Develop and manage departmental budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope
Ensure all designs, processes, and equipment comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Drive
innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and product quality
Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and evaluating new technologies
Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline); advanced degree a plus
8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong background in
manufacturing environments , with exposure to process optimization, capital projects, or product development
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with proven ability to lead teams through complex challenges
Proficiency in engineering software, CAD tools, and project management systems
Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships across departments and influencing at all levels of an organization
