QED Systems, Inc., an experienced Marine Engineering firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to fill an entry-level Administrative Support position. In the role of Administrative Assistant, you will support the West Coast Human Resource Generalist and other departmental staff. They will count on you to provide a broad range of administrative, clerical, reception, and special project tasks as well as: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively Demonstrate strong follow-up skills Must be eligible for a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential Use corporate systems to maintain records and process personnel actions Answer basic policy and procedure questions Assist in gathering data for issues and special projects as needed Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Basic Office Management Skills (i.e., phone communications, filing) Professional verbal and written communication and strong client service ability Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships, work well within a team setting Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, problem solver Professional ability to handle confidential information Education Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access:
U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for a Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards. Q.E.D. offers competitive benefits such as:
