HR Coordinator
to join their team. This
contract-to-hire
opportunity offers the potential for long-term growth and a path to permanent placement. Key Responsibilities Support the HR Generalist in educating employees on company policies and procedures, especially those related to job site safety, compliance, and union regulations
Assist in full-cycle hiring: sourcing, interviewing, I-9 verification, and tracking candidates in HRIS
Coordinate onboarding for field and office staff, including orientation, handbook distribution, and documentation compliance
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy for payroll and benefits
Present training materials related to OSHA compliance, job site conduct, and equipment handling
Ensure payroll accuracy for hourly and salaried employees, including prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting
Foster positive employee relations across job sites and office teams, resolving issues with professionalism and discretion
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data and ensure proper recordkeeping
Stay current on employment laws and construction-specific labor regulations
Assist with HR inquiries and support special projects as needed
Qualifications 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
Experience with
Paylocity
preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and maturity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Pay Details:
$26.00 to $28.00 per hour
