Accounting Clerk
A well respected, growing service organization is looking to hire an accounting clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R). The Accounting Clerk will be over: Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate accounting. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings (e.g., VAT, corporate tax returns). Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting to support business goals. Audit Preparation: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits. Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial data. Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management to support decision-making. Record Maintenance: Ensure that all accounting records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely maintained. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
