This role is a Hybrid in-office position in either Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. This attorney, working in the Legal Affairs Department, will represent T-Mobile and provide counsel to business units and Human Resources on employment and labor-related legal matters as assigned; prepare and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, position statements and other filings. Responsibilities

Provide practical, day-to-day employment-law counseling to HR and internal clients to identify and manage labor and employment legal risks. Act as subject matter expert for areas including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ADA, FMLA, and other leaves. Engage and work with outside counsel to manage employment litigation and administrative proceedings with a focus on creative strategies, cost reduction, and efficient resolutions. Prepare responses to agency charges and demand letters. Develop and review written HR policies, guidelines, templates, and forms. Develop and deliver legal training to HR and other internal clients. Provide employment-law advice regarding and directing internal investigations. Advise clients on employment-law compliance issues and complex and developing employment-related legal and business matters. Counsel and advise on a wide variety of evolving employment-related issues to support business needs. Experience and Qualifications

4+ years of experience as an employment attorney, with in-house and/or top law firm background recommended Minimum 4 years, preferably 6+, of experience handling litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and other employment-related claims Ability to work independently and effectively despite ambiguity and rapid change Excellent writing skills with a focus on practical advice Amazing oral communication skills for clearly and simply conveying complex employment-law concepts, risks, and options to HR and other internal clients Strong judgment balancing customer, business, employee interests and legal risks Strong project management skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate with legal and business professionals to deliver results efficiently Keen business sense with strong judgment, negotiation, drafting, and decision-making skills Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and balance multiple priorities Calm demeanor with a collaborative, drama-free approach Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the US At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States Additional Details

Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% The pay range above is for a general base pay range for a successful candidate. Actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience, and may vary within this range. Eligible employees may receive annual bonuses or incentives based on role, performance, and company metrics. For location-specific pay ranges, please refer to the posting.
