The Customer Service Specialist is primarily responsible for handling inbound customer calls regarding account questions and similar matters.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives customer phone calls and resolves issues/concerns if necessary
- Research accounts for discovering pertinent information and issues
- Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies
- Responds to billing inquiries
- Handles verification of pay histories and quote payoffs
- Coordinates problem resolution with appropriate departments
- Informs customers of standard procedures or the resolution of the problem.
- Follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
- This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual Spanish-Must Have
- One (1) year of customer service experience
- Skills and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
