Position Overview:

• As a Technical Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that clean energy initiatives are effectively translated into scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Work will directly support the development and reporting of clean energy programs, aligning with regulatory requirements and public service commission expectations.

Pay Rate: $74.00-$86.00/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of program enhancements.
• Facilitate user requirement workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and QA teams to guide solutions from concept through deployment.
• Analyze and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Organize and prioritize user stories for Agile development sprints.
• Support testing efforts by creating test plans, writing test scripts, and logging defects.
• Prepare system documentation, including process flows, customer journey maps, and business process models.
• Conduct user research, experience mapping, wireframing, and usability testing to inform product design.
• Apply critical thinking to diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools to support evolving program needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and decompose complex business processes.
• Proficiency in creating business process documentation and workflows.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new systems and technologies independently.
• Accurate testing and troubleshooting.
• Agile Methodology.
• Business Collaboration.
• Data-Driven Decision Making.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience designing, managing, analyzing, testing or improving software systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile framework.
• Organize work in software ticketing system (Azure DevOps, experience with Jira or similar acceptable).
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management (CPM), Certifications in Scrum/Agile.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Salesforce Reports.
• Self-sufficient person who can work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Summarize technical concepts and translate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Write technical user stories, organizing development sprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adaptability to Change.
• Agile scrum certified.
• Business Analyst - Salesforce.
• Experience in Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of and work experience with energy efficiency and demand side management initiatives.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Testing.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management (CPM), Certifications in Scrum/Agile.
• QA Tester .
