Cnc Machine Operator
This Spokane Valley, WA company is looking to hire an experienced CNC Machine Operator for their team. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring they produce parts according to specifications and quality standards. Compensation for the CNC Machine Operator - $19 -- $21 Per hour DOE - Monday through Friday, 7:30 am -- 4:00 pm - Temporary but could be a long term for the right candidate Responsibilities for the CNC Machine Operator - Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock, and placing orders - Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments - Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position - Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces - Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations - Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations - Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements - Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions - Documents actions by completing production and quality logs - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Requirements for the CNC Machine Operator - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ yr Manufacturing experience - CNC Operation experience preferred - Experience operating a variety of machine shop equipment and hand tools (grinders, files, etc.) - Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor - Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
