Position Summary: We are seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. The Teacher will lead in providing a warm, stimulating, and safe environment that fosters children’s growth, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing daily activities for infants and toddlers.
• Provide attentive and nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Support social-emotional development by modeling positive interactions and behavior.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families.
• Assist in observing and documenting children’s developmental milestones.
• Follow all safety, health, and licensing guidelines as per OCFS regulations.
• Help prepare learning materials and set up activities.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and be active on the floor with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Pay: $17 per hour. Full-time position.

• Salary: $17–$19 hourly
