West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication, supporting daily operations, and delivering excellent customer service.

• Position: Receptionist
• Location: Delray Beach, Florida
• Shift: Part-Time - Saturdays 8:00 AM-4:00 PM & Sundays 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
• Salary: $15.50 per hour

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls, taking messages or transferring to voicemail when appropriate.
• Provide general information to callers and visitors regarding the facility.
• Operate and manage a multi-line phone and paging system.
• Forward calls to nursing units for residents without phones.
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring proper sign-in and directing them as needed.
• Monitor the front entrance for security and elopement risks.
• Maintain accurate records of resident room numbers, staff extensions, emergency contacts, and key personnel.
• Assist with communication between residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Track and oversee the access of sales representatives within the building.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, computers, and office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new processes and procedures.
