Join our dynamic team as a Food Service Team Member! In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality food preparation and service while maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards. You will assist the manager in daily meal preparation, cash handling, and record keeping, all while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare delicious food and baked goods according to the planned menu.
Generate daily reports that confirm all financial transactions.
Understand and implement meal components accurately.
Store food properly to ensure safety and sanitation.
Serve food in compliance with schedules and department guidelines.
Maintain and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
Prepare various food items and beverages in a timely manner.
Add garnishments for enhanced presentation and customer satisfaction.
Assist in major cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
Follow all safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
Adhere to the workplace uniform policy.
Collaborate with the manager daily to review the menu and prepare for service.
Supervise food temperature checks to ensure safety.
Keep work and storage areas tidy and organized.
Perform thorough cleaning duties such as scrubbing surfaces and sanitizing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness in garbage collection and kitchen areas.
Be adaptable to perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
This position involves physical activities, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing. Personal protective equipment may be required.
Qualifications:
Food Service Certificate as required.
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Efficiency in working under pressure and maintaining a steady pace.
