Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student challenges Provide counseling and crisis intervention services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop supportive strategies Connect students and families with community resources and support services Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress Promote a positive and inclusive school environment Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a social worker Experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred Strong understanding of child development and mental health issues affecting students Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families Location: Chicago, Illinois This contract position spans the school year and offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic educational environment dedicated to student success.
